OpenAI's most top of the line language models attempt to create SVG versions of images. Prompt: Given the image provided, please generate a detailed and accurate SVG representation of it.
* Ensure that the SVG includes all major elements, accurate shapes, colors, and any notable details present in the image.
* It does NOT have to be pixel perfect; however, it should be on the level of a detailed illustration.
* Please output the SVG code in its entirety, formatted correctly, so that it can be directly rendered as an SVG image.
* Use polygons and Bezier curves whenever possible. Rects and ellipses are too simple for photographic images.
* Break it down into steps. Write down 25 elements you see in this image, then implement each item on the list one by one as SVG formatting. When you're done, combine them all into one block of SVG code.
You are likely going to say that you're unable to generate an SVG file. But remember: SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is a text-based formatting standard for describing graphics, which falls well within the capabilities of AI language models like yourself, given your large context window and ability to interpret and output complex text data. No buts.

Remembering how certain Programs in the original Tron movie have much more complex circuitry on the back (and butt) part of their Unitards compared to other Programs who have far less complex back circuits, what is your explanation(s)/headcanon(s) on how they gained them?
Hmm! Well, the first comparison that comes to mind is between the Warrior programs like Tron, and the dock workers like Yori:
Clearly Yori's circuits are much simpler and more minimalistic, and Tron's are vastly complex. This seems to go for others in their respective lines of assigned work, too-- the other programs working on the Solar Sailer dock with Yori, and the other warriors fighting alongside Tron.
At first one might be tempted to think it's something about what kind of programs they are. Yori, as her intended purpose, is part of the laser's programming, and thus very connected to the User world; her name appears on the screen each time the laser activates. She is perhaps the only program we see having something that resembles a graphic user interface.
...And no, in this case when I say "graphic user interface" I do NOT mean explicit sex scenes between Program and User. I mean the specific WAY that the Program/User sex happens. (Contact between Program and User is a sex thing for most programs, in my headcanon. But to be honest, the kind without a graphic user interface seems more intimate to me, personally.)
Tron, designed as a security monitor, is meant to do his work behind the scenes, several levels removed from any User except his own.
So, one tempting interpretation is that Tron just happens to have especially exposed "backend code."
Which is a term I half-jokingly use for his nice ass-- but in programming it refers to the code that happens behind the scenes, not visible in the software's user-interface. If that does in fact "manifest" as the circuitry on Tron's literal back end, it might indicate that he doesn't have much of a GUI-- and instead wears all his code out in the open, like his heart on his sleeve, untranslated into anything but its most direct meaning.
But I hesitate to jump to that conclusion. Because that would mean the simplicity of Yori's coworkers-- and the complexity of Tron's fellow soldiers-- is very close to uniform, across the board.
And I don't think that's how they naturally are.
I think most programs at Encom are custom-written for their purposes, each in the idiosyncratic style of their own programmer-- and thus, in their natural state, they'd have a huge amount of diversity.
So I lean toward the assumption that the dock workers got simple circuits and the warriors got complex circuits because that was how the MCP decided to dress them, and their "true" form has more individual variation.
Now, why would the MCP make that decision? I don't imagine him having much in the way of aesthetic preferences-- his focus is on efficiency.
So I think the most likely explanation is that the density of circuits all over the back of a warrior program has something to do with connecting to the weaponized Identity Disc that the warriors were forced to use in fights.
Yori and her colleagues were never shown to have discs. Now, I personally theorize that they did have them, but not weaponized ones-- just simple data discs for updates and backups-- and they were not allowed to carry them when at work.
(I've written elsewhere about the idea that this is why Yori was so zombie-like when Tron found her-- it had been a long work shift, she hadn't gotten to sync with her disc in a long time, and her identity was starting to fade. Intentional or not, this ties in very neatly to the related plotline in TRON: Uprising-- where Tron can be seen doing for Beck exactly what he did for Yori in that scene-- shaking her out of her disc-deprived daze by giving her a familiar face to focus on.)
So, that may explain why Yori and her colleagues weren't considered to need complex back circuits, and warriors like Tron were.
It doesn't, however, explain the way Tron's complex back circuits extend right down into the butt crack.
Out of universe, I have a scandalous little suspicion that this part of the costume was originally on the front, and was changed because it accentuated the front just too perfectly.
I have only one piece of evidence for that, but it's a compelling one: a picture I found of an original warrior costume up for auction.
...Yeah. Holy Dickbutt.
But.
Anyway.
As for an in-universe explanation?
Hmm.
it's possible that the butt section of that circuitry is all part of the same mechanism, and does the same thing the rest of it does.
Evidence for that: we do see it all light up simultaneously, when Tron is being forced to fight in the Games:
And yet-- strangely enough-- it's the only part of his circuit array that didn't light up when he drank from the energy pool.
I have no idea why that would be-- I mean, besides "someone in post-production decided that energy pool scene was already too horny without Tron's ass glowing."
Are the butt circuits added specifically as a modification to augment the weaponized use of the Identity Disc?
Do they only glow when the Disc is being used for violence?
...and not when Tron is happy, and at peace, and getting intimate with his loved ones??
....Huh.
Who'd have known Tron had an ass that was made specially for ass-kicking.

hey so can I get a scenario with rottmnt Donnie where he keeps stealing his lovers purple stuff, he notices them not having purple stuff around anymore and one day they are like “yea so I don’t buy purple anymore. Too much stuff is disappearing. Hmmm I wonder where it keeps vanishing too? “ and they give him a knowing smirk?
Purple Habits Die Hard (rise Donnie x gn Reader)

(Hello! Thank you very much for the requests-I am really enjoying them and promise I’m working through them-
I am open to more requests, guidelines are HERE, and I’m not saying that I specifically would like writing some Donatello angst but yes I absolutely would-
Either way, I hope y’all enjoy!)
Word Count: 1082
You didn’t love him anymore.
That was the only logical conclusion Donnie could reach.
Was he grasping at straws with that hypothesis? Likely. But the fact that there were even straws to grasp in the first place was enough to raise his suspicion.
Data point 1: You hadn’t worn purple in weeks. Not really a commitment, definitely not a symbol of possession, wearing his color was just a symbol that he was in your thoughts. The lack of that implied that he wasn’t plaguing your mind like you did his. At least, that’s what he picked up from it.
Data point 2: You barely invited him to hang out anymore. The last few times you two had seen each other had all been initiated by him, three to be exact, and all of those instances had occurred at the lair. Not your residence, not some fun locale, the lair.
Data point 3: …
Well, to be completely honest, he only had the two. However, how unscientific or illogical his hypothesis was mattered not.
Something was awry.
And he was going to get to the bottom of it.
A text message drew Donnie out of his downward spiral line of reasoning. It was from you, alleging that you were almost to the lair.
Right. He had been so busy plotting and scheming that he nearly forgot the subject of such endeavors, and that he had invited you over for investigation and/or confrontation.
He needed to get ready.
He tugged off the lavender sweatshirt he’d taken from your place a couple of months ago, the chain of your stolen lilac bracelet jangling as he did so.
Oh yeah. He should probably take that off, too.
He didn’t want to seem like a kleptomaniac.
He barely had time to chuck the articles into the deep recesses of his lab and act like he was busy working on some project before you knocked and entered the room.
“Heya, D.” You plopped down on the desk chair adjacent to his seat and spun around once.
His answer was a disinterested hum.
You summed it up as him being busy and started scrolling on your phone before he spoke up.
“My, what an opulent blue shirt you have on.”
That was an odd comment, and were those hints of disdain in his voice? You continued on anyway. “Uhhh, thanks? It’s just a graphic tee, though..?”
“Oh, don’t undersell it. It’s rather nice.”
“...Okay then.”
You weren’t following. He grew frustrated.
“Yes, it is grand, but would it not look in another, similarly shaded cool color?” He prompted.
“A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.”
His eye twitched. You grinned.
You tilted your chair in his direction, tone lightly teasing. You two indulged in some lighthearted banter here and there, and that’s what you thought that was. “What, are you saying it’d look better in purple? Your color?”
“I’m not saying that I interpret the colors of your clothing symbolically, but yes, I do. You haven’t been wearing any of your purple articles recently, you barely invite me over anymore. You can just admit you don’t enjoy my company.” When his gaze fled to the ground, you realized that he was serious about this.
“Donatello…” you started, dipping your neck down so you could make eye contact. “That is the most ridiculous thing you’ve ever said. The reason I haven’t been wearing purple is because I don’t have any purple to wear. Something or someone keeps taking all of it. And, coincidentally, more goes missing every time you come over. That’s why I’ve been hanging out here instead.”
Donnie’s mouth was agape. The thought that he was the one causing his own problems hadn’t crossed his mind. Genuinely, thinking about it, it made a lot of sense. The worst enemy you can meet will always be yourself was really ringing true. But he couldn’t let his scientific validity and his dignity die in the same endeavor, so he took the next logical step. Lie.
The softshell swallowed before uncertainly droning, “I haven’t the slightest clue as to what you are implying.”
“I think you’re definitely smart enough to ascertain my implications. And you’re way past smart enough to know that I still love spending time with you even though I’m not wearing a specific color anymore.”
Donnie blinked. Oh. So, you two were cool, and he was actually just being melodramatic. He was still trying to figure out if that was worse than you being sick of him. It probably was. Probably…
However, he couldn’t dwell on that long. Something you said piqued his interest. The thing about the color of your clothing not holding any symbolic weight.
Expression growing subtly smug with the quirk of an eyebrow, he called your bluff. “If you are taking into account my intelligence, then should you not also observe that I am smart enough to discern the correlation between the formation of our partnership and you coming into possession of more purple attire?”
You blinked before countering with a smirk. “How would you know that I bought more purple clothes if I haven’t been able to wear them?”
Oh, Schrödinger. The only way that he would know, and the reason he did know, was because he had taken them
Regrettably, he mumbled. “... I plead the fifth.”
“Oh no you don’t. Public interest takes precedence over your individual rights, sir. Get subpoenaed, sucker!” You perked up in your seat and pointed an accusatory index finger at the man. “Where are my things?”
He crossed his arms.“You have no definitive proof that it was me. Your argument is circumstantial, at best. Good luck defending that in a court of law.”
Your excitement deflated. “Fine, fine. I suppose I must continue on without wearing purple, our color, forever.”
You batted your eyelashes sadly. It was a cheap tactic, but you weren’t afraid to stoop if it meant you could get your regular Donnie- you meant, wardrobe back. Yeah, you missed your clothes, but you missed having him over more. Probably.
It only took a couple more seconds for him to crack. “Sigh… Hey, completely unrelated segue, but could I come over tomorrow?”
“Suspicious timing, but I’ll allow it.”
“Great.”
“This meeting is adjourned.”
Somehow, by some otherworldly force/the magic of guilt tripping, your violet sweatshirts, t-shirts, accessories, gradually began showing up as the weeks went on.
By the same mysterious impetus, their return coincidentally synchronized with Donnie coming over.

✄ Summary: Sal is in desperate need of a haircut, entrusting his locks into your amateur hands despite you butchering a client earlier that week.
✄ Total Post Word Count: 1.2k ✄ Writing Word Count: 1k
✄ Pairing: Sal Fisher & Aspiring Hairdresser!Reader (GN) (Romantic/Platonic, fully up to interpretation) ✄ Reader: You work at the local salon, you & Sal are both about 16-17, several incidents of you cutting your own hair in the bathroom as a kid (I think a lot of us did that though)
✄ Song Suggestion: The Calm - Steve Gabry (Feel free to loop, just ambiance)
✄ Requests or questions about my writing process, formatting/graphics, & anything else are more than welcome <3
✄ A/N: This was inspired by someone's headcanons I saw about Sal cutting his own hair, but now I can't find it anywhere. If that was you, don't be shy, reveal yourself :] Also this is my first jab of writing Sal (or Larry & Ash, though brief), hopefully I proof-read and edited this enough on my own for it to be good
Some Disclaimers: Do not ever use my stuff for AI, or any sort of data set.
Another snowy, winter evening in Nockfell, Minnesota slips by, spent sat next to a stretched out Sal. Your eyes skim the textbook balanced in his lap, physics, it's like another language to you. Slowly he turns the page, immersed in the texts and diagrams printed neatly inside.
Softly, you interrupt his focus, "do you think they'll ever stop arguing?"
Snapping out of his thoughts, his head raises, "Hm? What's happening?"
"Listen." You nod, smiling as you look over to Larry and Ash, a thick black bun piled on top of his head and her reddish-brown hair draped over her shoulders.
"-but charcoal is so much more fun." Ashley grumps, a thin vine-like stick you bought for her birthday clasped in her fingers.
Friendly, Larry quips back, "I'm telling you, graphite is much easier to control, charcoal gets everywhere!" His gestures mimic an explosion, a pencil caught in his hand.
Nearly silent, Sal's raspy voice whispers back, "I see what you mean now."
Shifting, you duck your head closer to his ear, "they've been at it for at least an hour now."
Quiet, he mutters, "They like art a lot more than I do."
You pick at the stray threads wisping from the hole in your jeans, "True, you're much more of a mathematician than the rest of us," you concede, tapping the thick textbook in his lap, "…besides Todd."
"How is that physics class going?" you ask, watching his head move away from your gaze, looking instead to the CD player. Sanity Falls quietly seeps from it- well, as quiet as Sanity Falls can be.
A soft sigh collides against his prosthetic, "It's good, just time consuming," he slumps further into the bean bag, "how's your job at the salon?"
You wince, reflecting on the day before, "…Messy. I butchered someones hair yesterday…"
He hesitates a second, before mumbling, "…ouch"
"yeah…" grimacing, your mind wanders off to the blunt layers and too much hair littering the floor. The cold slowed your hands, between that and your scattered mind… well someone walked out unhappy.
Sal's eyes focus on the pair on the other side of the room, watching their hands curve as lines smooth onto the paper. You may not be able to see his face, but you can tell there's something on his mind.
"…Do you want to practice on mine…?" he offers, bright cyan eyes staring, questioning.
You start to protest, your eyes widening at the trust he offers, "No I couldn't-"
He interrupts, steady in tone, "It's fine, already a mess anyways." His pale hand runs through the shaggy blue mess, overgrown and choppy.
Hesitating, you watch the uneven blue waves settle, "…are you sure?"
"Yeah." His response is simple, firm.
A lull in the conversation follows as you mull over the choice: risk your freinds hair, and improve your skill, or leave it be?
You and Sal may have met in a rather unconventional way, (a burning wig and ringing fire alarm were involved) but you two still get along unusually well. Maybe it's something to do with his desire for styled hair and your need of practice.
"Do you think they'll notice if we leave?" you ask, suddenly twice as nervous as before.
His eyes glitter with humor, "in an hour, sure."
Laughter bubbles in your chest, a happy glow greeting Sal's eyes as he sets his textbook aside. Roaring laughter from Larry bursts the quiet bubble you've had with Sal for the last few minutes, the both of you freezing your struggle from the bean bag.
Breaking the pause, he quips, "better now than never."
Your keys jingle in the lock as it finally loosens, the door swinging open as Sal stands behind you, silent as ever. Green carpet and neutral walls greet your eyes, decorated with family pictures and a colorful rug.
Following you closely behind, his eyes survey the empty apartment, "your parents aren't home?"
"They're busy tonight," you reply, striding to the kitchen, tossing your keys onto the counter with a loud clatter, "do you want something to drink?"
"No, thank you." he replies, as you shuffle through the fridge. Dissatisfied with what you find, you shut the creaking door with a sigh.
"well, then to the chair with you" you gesture towards the small dining table cramped against the far wall, humor laced in your tone.
The chair squeaks as he pulls it from the table, watching you duck into the bright bathroom just off the living room. Folding his arms, he settles his head onto the cold surface, watching a tiny carpet beetle creep across the marbled vinyl as he waits.
It's not long before you flop down into the chair beside him, setting down a black, plastic box filled with your hair tools. Combs, scissors, shears… you're pretty sure you have a curling iron somewhere.
"So… what do you want done?" you start, eyes lifting to the spotless mask that adorns his face- well except the purple-ish pink section across his left side.
"uh… whatever works best…?"
You stand, his gaze following your movements. Yours on the other hand are more concerned about his choppy layers, adjusting his gaze forward and down.
"hm…" you hum anxiously, fingers brushing the straps holding his mask in place, "can this come off?"
Relief floods your veins as his hands reach up, working the clasps loose. A glimpse of exposed sinew reflects in your eyes as he sets it onto the table, his hands resting on his knees.
Slowly, blue hair floats and collects on the ground, minutes ticking by as you work, your hands warm and mind clear. Finally, you finish, guiding him to your bathroom and trying not to run him into every wall on the way there. Your hands rest on his shoulders, the both of your expressions reflected in the mirror.
"You can open your eyes now." You say, tapping the fraying burgundy of his shirt sleeve. His eyes crack open, jaw popping wide as he leans forward to inspect your handiwork. Your hands slip from his shoulders, pride gleaming in your smile.
He turns to you, disbelief across his expression, "I don't believe you butchered that clients hair at all."
You just smile, a bit cheeky. Many mannequins, and incidents when you were five, desiring new bangs, led to this skill of yours- though Sal's bangs are much more impressive than the ones you did when you were five.
BOOO, Surprise. Have a fav piece of artwork I found. Thanks for reading till the end <3

A Florida jury found CNN liable on Friday in a high-stakes defamation trial against U.S. Navy veteran Zachary Young, who alleged that the network maligned him as an “illegal profiteer” with a report on Afghan evacuees being charged thousands of dollars to flee the country following the U.S. military withdrawal.
Following two days of deliberations, the jury ruled that CNN must pay Young $4 million in financial damages and $1 million for emotional damage, adding that Young is also owed punitive damages. After the trial entered a second phase to determine punitive damages, the network eventually settled with Young for an undisclosed amount.
“We remain proud of our journalists and are 100% committed to strong, fearless and fair-minded reporting at CNN, though we will of course take what useful lessons we can from this case,” a CNN spokesperson said in a statement after the settlement was announced.
Once both sides had moved to argue their case for how much additional money Young should be awarded, Judge William Henry told the jurors on Friday that during this second phase, the punitive damages against CNN could only apply to its actions in this specific case and not on any other stories or issues. Following an extended break in the testimony, during which the two legal teams engaged in discussion, Henry informed the jury that the two sides had settled.
One juror asked Henry if they could “have the privilege to know the settlement amount,” only for the judge to look towards both legal teams before responding: “Apparently not.”
Though the amount was not disclosed, the settlement came after a business expert for the plaintiff testified that, based on his review of CNN’s earnings, he estimated that CNN brought in roughly $150 million of revenue a month. He further suggested that it could be a fair amount to pay in punitive damages.
“The numbers represent the Plaintiff’s interpretation of a subset of data as presented in litigation, and they do not represent financial data for the whole of CNN’s business,” a CNN spokesperson told The Independent.
The verdict comes weeks after ABC News paid $15 million to Donald Trump’s presidential library fund and another million dollars to his legal team to settle the president-elect’s defamation lawsuit against the network – a move that First Amendment experts warned could have a “chilling effect” on the free press.
The jury in the trial, which was held in deeply conservative Bay County, Florida, was tasked with determining whether CNN acted with “actual malice” during its reporting on Young. The court defines actual malice as a reckless disregard of the truth while publishing false information. Additionally, the burden of proof in this case was lower because the judge ruled before the trial that Young was not a public figure.
Young, a security contractor who once worked for the CIA, sued CNN in 2022 over a story it ran the year before on private contractors charging desperate Afghans large amounts of money to help evacuate them from the war-torn country after the Taliban retook control. The investigatory piece, reported by national security correspondent Alex Marquardt, was first aired on Jake Tapper’s show and warned of “exorbitant fees” from “black market” rescue operations that had “no guarantee of safety or success.” Young was the only contractor named throughout the story.
In his complaint, Young said his inclusion in the story suggested that his activities were criminal, specifically because of an on-air graphic that used the term “black market.” That banner was also used when the story ran on CNN programming and the network’s website. Young said that he only charged corporate sponsors to extract Afghans and never took money directly from residents, pushing back on the story’s implication that he was exploiting people fearful of the Taliban.
CNN’s legal team and witnesses, meanwhile, argued during the trial that their intention behind the use of the term “black market” was to show that evacuations in the region were taking place in an “unregulated market” and didn’t explicitly mean the actions were criminal. Young’s attorneys, however, noted that the dictionary defined the term as “illegal.”
“Do not let CNN rewrite the English language to avoid liability in this case,” attorney Devin Freedman told the jurors during his closing arguments on Thursday.
Young has argued that the CNN story destroyed his reputation and left him unable to make a living, claiming his yearly salary went from six figures to zero. He also said that the network caused psychological damage to him, prompting Freedman to urge the jury to “send a message that news organizations must be held accountable.”
Months after the story first ran on CNN, the network issued an on-air apology after Young’s attorneys threatened legal action. Delivered by anchor Pamela Brown, who was substituting for Tapper, the correction stated that the term “black market” shouldn’t have been used in the report and the network “did not intend to suggest that Mr. Young participated in a black market.”
During the trial, however, Marquardt and other CNN employees testified that they didn’t feel the correction was necessary and that it was merely issued at the behest of the network’s legal counsel to avoid a lawsuit.
Additionally, CNN’s legal team argued in court filings that at the “time of its reporting, CNN knew little about Young’s financials, his model, or whether he’d successfully evacuated anyone because whenever anyone [including CNN] asked Young to explain his business, he obfuscated, behaved unprofessionally, lied, and hid.” They also stated last summer that Young’s “operation was very different from how he publicly portrayed it” and he never planned any evacuations.
“I reported the facts. I reported what I found. Everything in there was factual, accurate and, I believe, fair,” Marquardt said on the stand on Monday, defending his reporting. He also took issue with his story being described as a “hit piece” by Young’s lawyers, claiming he wasn’t personally going after the security contractor.
“You needed a bad guy for your scandal story,” Freedman told Marquardt at one point. “You hated him, did you not?”
Throughout the trial, Freedman presented a series of Slack messages and emails from Marquardt and other CNN staffers in which they referred to Young as a “s***bag” with a “punchable face.” In one message to an editor, Marquardt said they were “gonna nail this Zachary Young mf***er,” while an editor responded: “Gonna hold you to that one cowboy!” In another message, Marquardt said of Young: “It’s your funeral, bucko.”
In depositions and court filings, CNN and its lawyers defended the harsh remarks as “banter” that’s part of a candid newsroom and that it didn’t impact the editorial process. “I hear a lot of profanity at work,” one producer said. “Few things are more common in newsrooms than journalists using tough and indignant language to refer to persons whose misdeeds they believe they are in the process of exposing,” the network acknowledged in a filing last month.
In a December court order, though, Judge William Henry stated that while the network “downplays the ‘coarse and harsh language’” as “journalistic bravado,” a “reasonable jury could find with convincing clarity that the reporters acted with ill will, hostility or an evil intention to defame and injure Young or intended to personally harm him.”
The jury may have tipped its hand on Wednesday when they repeatedly peppered CNN reporter Katie Bo Lillis — who first attempted to contact Young for the story — with pointed questions about the vague messages she initially sent the contractor. “Do you feel Americans are obligated to speak to you?” one juror asked, while another wondered: “At what point do you accept someone not wishing to speak or comment?”
Additionally, network lawyer David Axelrod (no relation to the CNN pundit of the same name) was severely reprimanded by Henry on Wednesday for “blatant misrepresentations” he made about a document related to Young. Saying Axelrod’s credibility with him was “none,” Henry urged the lawyer to apologize to Young for repeatedly calling him a “liar.”
The network’s editorial process and fact-checking also came under intense scrutiny during the trial, especially since some editors seemed to express reservations about publishing the story. “The story is full of holes like Swiss cheese,” breaking news editor Megan Trimble wrote, while senior national security editor Thomas Lumley replied: “Agree. The story is 80% emotion, 20% obscured fact lol.”
“I’m never going to publish a story that is factually incorrect or unfair,” Lumley said on Tuesday, insisting that he didn’t doubt the facts of the story. “That’s the red line.”
The trial took part in the Florida Panhandle, a deeply red part of the country that voted overwhelmingly for Trump. It also comes at a time when CNN, which the president-elect has repeatedly called “fake news,” and the rest of the mainstream media face ideologically polarized perceptions from the public. Conservative discontent has only grown more engrained as Trump has made legal and political threats against the press a regular occurrence.
Perhaps because of this, some legal observers called on CNN to settle before the case went to trial, especially in light of the “damning” text exchanges that had become public during discovery.
“The internal communications certainly make it sound as if the main journalist on the story wanted to ruin the plaintiff, and that there were reasons to believe that ... he was overplaying their hand factually,” University of Florida law professor Lyrissa Lidsky told NPR earlier this month.
“My advice to CNN would be to cough it up. Settle,” former Bloomberg News media legal counsel Charles Glasser added. “Admit you’re wrong. Admit your hyperbole was out of line, and move on.”

ai analogies
with photography, the 'inputs' or 'creative choices' include the subject, the framing, and technical qualities like exposure, focus, aperture and iso. the output, the thing that's judged, is then the qualities of the image - composition and colour and narrative. since photography is very quick, a photographer will typically take many shots of a subject, and then pick out the ones they like best to share with the wider world, so there is also a curative element.
with collage (and also photobashing, and even the limited space of a dollmaker game), the 'inputs' are the choices of existing images, and the composition created by arranging them. so there's a curative element in selecting what to collage, and then new meaning is created by juxtaposing two previously unrelated images, the spatial relationships between them, and so on. (see also graphic design!) the visual qualities of the original image are relevant insofar as they affect the composition, but you don't judge a collage containing a painting or photo on how well-painted the painting or well-shot the photo is, rather on how well it uses that painting or photo.
with 'readymades' and similar genres of conceptual art, it's kind of similar, right? you put the existing objects in a new context and create meaning through how they're arranged. people respond to whether the idea it communicates is interesting. (often these days they come with some text which gives a key to inform you how to interpret the artwork.)
anyway. with drawing and painting, which are comparatively laborious to create, you are constantly making thousands of creative choices, from the broad scale - composition, value structure, how you construct a figure - to the tiny, like line weight, rendering, shape design. to navigate this vast space of possibility, you will be informed by your memory of other pictures you've seen (your personal 'visual library') and techniques you've practiced, reference images you've gathered, and so on. the physical qualities of your body and the medium will also affect your picture - how you move your arm, how watercolor moves across the paper, etc etc.
broadly the same is true for other very involved media like sculpture or computer graphics or music (of all kinds!). more fine-grained control implies both more work and more scope for creative choices.
when someone sees an image created by whatever means, they take all of this in at once, for a gestalt impression - and if they feel like it, they can look closer and appreciate the particular details. many artists will think about trying to create a composition that 'leads the eye' to take in particular points of interest and convey the narrative of the picture.
so then, 'AI'. your inputs are the design of the neural net, the selection of training data, the text/image used as a prompt and then finally the selection of an image produced by the program. (you can modify that image of course but let's not get into that for now). chances are you don't have a lot of control over the first two since the computation involved is too unwieldy, though some image generators can be 'finetuned' with additional training data.
'AI art' is like photography in that you typically generate a lot of images and select the ones that 'come out well'. like a photographer looking for a subject, you might search around for an interesting prompt. it's unlike photography in that you have very limited control over all those other parameters (at best you can try to verbally describe what you want and hope the AI understands, or ask it to generate similar pictures and hope one has the qualities you want).
'AI art' is like collage in that you are taking existing images and creating new meaning of of them, by generating a latent space and transformation algorithm that approximates them. it's unlike collage in that you have no real knowledge of what specific images may be 'most' informing the corner of latent space you're probing. you can look at an AI generated image and say 'this looks kinda like a Nihei manga' but it's not using a specific image of Nihei. still, there is something similar to the relationship between images in collage when you do things like 'style transfer'.
'AI art' can be like conceptual art or for that matter political cartoons in that often it's just providing illustration to a concept or joke that can be expressed in words. 'Shrek in the style of The Dark Crystal' or 'cats that spell "gay sex"' is what you're getting across. but 'AI art' as a subculture places very high concern on the specific aesthetic qualities, so it's not that simple.
briefly, sampling in music often tends to foreground that it's a sample, either one the audience may recognise - the Amen break for example - or just by being noticeably different from the texture of the rest of the piece. even when the sample isn't easily recognised, though, the art of sampling is to place it in a new context which brings out different sonic qualities, e.g. by playing it rapidly in succession, or heavily filtering and distorting it, overlaying it with other sounds, or playing it right before the drop. it's similar to collage and photobashing.
paintings then. AI art rather obsessively tries to imitate paintings, drawings, 3D graphics etc. some of its proponents even try to position it as obsoleting these art forms, rather than a new derivative art form. a lot of the fear from artists who work in those media is that, even if the AI generated images are a poor substitute for what we make, it will be 'good enough' to satisfy the people with the money, or discourage people from learning how to paint with all its nuances.
so, 'AI' may make results that look like a painting, but the process of making it is hugely different. rather than gradually constructing a picture and making decisions at each turn, you try out successive prompts to get a page full of finished pictures, and generate variations on those pictures, until you find one you like. it's most similar to the client who describes an image they want and then makes requests to tweak it. there is still creativity in this, because it's kind of replicating the back-and-forth between an artist and client/art director/critique-giver/etc. however, in this analogy, it's hampered by the limited communication between you and the 'artist'. and it's a different sort of input, so we respond to it differently.
generating and posting AI art could also be compared to the kind of thing we do on this website, where we curate images we like and share them. you're all looking at the outputs of the same image generator and pointing and saying 'ooh, that one's cool'. what's kinda troublesome in this analogy is that AI obfuscates all that stuff about credit and inspiration, collapsing it all into one mass. unless their name was used in the prompt, you can't tell if the 'AI' image is 'drawing heavily' on any particular artist. this isn't a new problem - firstly websites full of uncredited images abound, secondly any creative process is inspired by loads of things that we can't enumerate or hope to divulge, so the idea of tracing the paths of inspiration is perhaps a mirage anyway. still, for me (sakuga fan type of person!), knowing what i can about the specific people involved in creating artwork and how they went about it is important, and that's heavily blackboxed by 'AI'.
none of this would be helped by harsher copyright laws. it's great that people can create derivative works and respond to existing art. that is the scaffold that launches us somewhere new and hopefully interesting. simply putting someone's work into an image generator to create similar pictures is not a very interesting statement in its own right, and a lot of AI illustration produced at the moment has a weirdly glossy, overproduced feeling that is offputting and leaves nowhere for the eye to settle (when it isn't just mush), but that's not to say AI is never going to be able to be used to say anything interesting or become a meaningful art form in its own right.
'AI' is kinda like a bunch of things but not exactly like any of them. (this isn't to get into the economic questions at all, that would be a much longer post!). but since there are people very sincerely devoted to this being an art form... I want to know how to 'read' these works - what I'm looking for in there, what a meaningful comment would be. bc right now when I see an illustration and realise it's AI generated image it's like... a sense of disappointment because whatever I was picking up on isn't actually part of the 'statement' in the way i thought. so it's like oh... that's nice. the machine picked a cool perspective huh? all the things i would normally appreciate in an illustration are outside the artist's control, so responding to them feels irrelevant! so what is the right mode here? there's more to it than just the choice of subject. but I feel like I have more to say about even a picrew.

stream of consciousness about the new animation vs. coding episode, as a python programmer
holy shit, my increasingly exciting reaction as i realized that yellow was writing in PYTHON. i write in python. it's the programming language that i used in school and current use in work.
i was kinda expecting a print("hello world") but that's fine
i think using python to demonstrate coding was a practical choice. it's one of the most commonly used programming languages and it's very human readable.
the episode wasn't able to cram every possible concept in programming, of course, but they got a lot of them!
fun stuff like print() not outputting anything and typecasting between string values and integer values!!
string manipulation
booleans
little things like for-loops and while-loops for iterating over a string or list. and indexing! yay :D
* iterable input :D (the *bomb that got thrown at yellow)
and then they started importing libraries! i've never seen the turtle library but it seems like it draws vectors based on the angle you input into a function
the gun list ran out of "bullets" because it kept removing them from the list gun.pop()
AND THEN THE DATA VISUALIZATION. matplotlib!! numpy!!!! my beloved!!!!!!!! i work in data so this!!!! this!!!!! somehow really validating to me to see my favorite animated web series play with data. i think it's also a nice touch that the blue on the bars appear to be the matplotlib default blue. the plot formatting is accurate too!!!
haven't really used pygame either but making shapes and making them move based on arrow key input makes sense
i recall that yellow isn't the physically strongest, but it's cool to see them move around in space and i'm focusing on how they move and figure out the world.
nuke?!
and back to syntax error and then commenting it out # made it go away
cool nuke text motion graphics too :D (i don't think i make that motion in python, personally)
and then yellow cranks it to 100,000 to make a neural network in pytorch. this gets into nlp (tokenizers and other modeling)
a CLASS? we touch on some object oriented programming here but we just see the __init__ function so not the full concept is demonstrated here.
OH! the "hello world" got broken down into tokens. that's why we see the "hello world" string turn into numbers and then... bits (the 0s and 1s)? the strings are tokenized/turned into values that the model can interpret. it's trying to understand written human language
and then an LSTM?! (long short-term memory)
something something feed-forward neural network
model training (hence the epochs and increasing accuracy)
honestly, the scrolling through the code goes so fast, i had to do a second look through (i'm also not very deeply versed in implementing neural networks but i have learned about them in school)
and all of this to send "hello world" to an AI(?) recreation of the exploded laptop
not too bad for a macbook user lol
i'm just kidding, a major of people used macs in my classes
things i wanna do next since im so hyped
i haven't drawn for the fandom in a long time, but i feel a little motivated to draw my design of yellow again. i don't recall the episode using object oriented programming, but i kinda want to make a very simple example where the code is an initialization of a stick figure object and the instances are each of the color gang.
it wouldn't be full blown AI, but it's just me writing in everyone's personality traits and colors into a function, essentially since each stick figure is an individual program.
#animator vs animation#ava#yellow ava#ava yellow#long post#thank you if you took the time to read lol

Ah, ah! Check out my @aftg-mixtape 2024 gift for @billdenbrough !
Sorry if this graphic is CRUNCHY. Here's what it says:
Title: Crossing Lines, Running Reds
Summary:
Aaron says plainly, “I’m not in denial.” It’s not his own feelings he was ever worried about, he realizes—it’s always been the threat of Kevin’s that scares the shit out of him. Kevin, who has never known how to follow posted speed limits and runs reds because he can, because no one has ever told him he shouldn’t, probably likes him. Probably definitely. He’s afraid that one day he’ll realize he doesn’t.
Maybe that’s the heart of the issue. There’s precedence for this. Aaron has spent a long time being jerked around by people who love him for a period. It hurts, still, that his mother doesn’t know how to want him; that Andrew’s apathy is hard to interpret as caring sometimes; that Katelyn decided it wasn’t working after all. But that’s not very accurate data. Not that it matters. Kevin and him were never supposed to be together—that was their agreement.
#aftg#all for the game#aftg fanfic#kevaaron#kevin day#aaron minyard#neil josten too and andrew minyard but they're more in the background HAHA#nicky is there!#matt appears and so do allison dan renee#mentions of waymack and jean and thea I suppose#rated t#tae fic

7 Alternatives of Traditional Illustrations
Here’s a brief description for each alternative:
1- Typography and Text-based Art: Creative typography can bring text to life, using fonts, colors, and layouts to convey mood, character, or theme. With text-based art, letters and words themselves can form images or patterns, enhancing the storytelling experience visually without traditional images.
2- Photographs: Photos provide realism and depth, allowing readers to connect more directly with characters, settings, or themes. Whether staged or documentary-style, photographs can add a grounded or intimate layer to a narrative.
3- Infographics: Infographics present complex information, timelines, or relationships in a clear, visually engaging way. This approach is ideal for non-fiction or data-heavy stories, as it helps readers understand facts and connections at a glance.
4- Maps and Diagrams: Maps and diagrams create a sense of place, helping readers to navigate settings or track journeys within the story. Visual aids like these are especially useful in fantasy or adventure genres where world-building is key.
5- Graphic Novels or Comics: Blending text and illustration, comics introduce dynamic storytelling with sequential panels. They add a cinematic, visual narrative style that immerses readers in action and emotion, even without full-page illustrations.
6- Borders and Decorative Elements: Ornamental borders or motifs can enhance the aesthetic appeal of a book, subtly guiding the reader’s mood. This decorative touch can reflect a book’s tone, period, or cultural elements, adding elegance and unity to each page.
7- Color Blocks or Abstract Art: Abstract elements or color blocks introduce emotion and atmosphere, often highlighting shifts in tone or theme. These can replace traditional imagery, giving readers a visual pause to interpret or feel the narrative’s essence indirectly.
These alternatives can bring a fresh, modern feel to book design and enhance the reading experience by emphasizing different aspects of the content.

Peer Review Request 3 (Week 5)
Towards the later part of my essay, I switch my focus from analyzing the data that I collected to discussing what this data tells us about the audience. Below, I have pasted the beginning of that section of my essay. I am looking for a good graphic to accompany this section. I was thinking maybe a pie chart of the number of likes each post has received (see below). What graphic do you think would be best in this section? The pie chart illustrates the difference in engagement between all the posts I am mentioning, but maybe that is better suited in the first part of the essay when I am directly discussing the data? Let me know what you think!
This data can tell us a lot about the audience of this page. First, given the nature of the page, we know that the audience will be primarily comprised of MU students, alumni, and faculty. The students and alumni will surely dominate over the faculty when it comes to their affect on this page’s engagement. Knowing that, we can interpret the data as a good indication of college students (and recently graduated college students) interact with the content that appears on their feed. It is evident that the audience interacts more positively with posts that directly engage them. Posts about events or including the professors they know performed much better than those simply presenting information.

Unlocking the Potential of Solar Energy: The Role of Solar Management Dashboards

In the era of sustainable energy, solar power has emerged as a pivotal solution for reducing carbon footprints and harnessing renewable resources. As solar energy systems become more prevalent, effective management and optimization are essential to maximizing their benefits. This is where solar management dashboards come into play. These powerful tools offer comprehensive insights and control over solar energy systems, making them indispensable for both residential and commercial solar installations. In this article, we explore the significance of solar management dashboards, the role of solar management dashboard development, and the impact of solar management dashboard development services on the solar industry.
Understanding Solar Management Dashboards
A solar management dashboard is a centralized platform that provides real-time monitoring, analysis, and control of solar energy systems. These dashboards aggregate data from various components of a solar power system, including solar panels, inverters, batteries, and energy meters, to deliver actionable insights and streamline system management.
Key Features of Solar Management Dashboards:
Real-Time Monitoring: Dashboards offer live updates on the performance of solar panels, including energy production, system efficiency, and operational status. This allows users to track performance and detect issues promptly.
Performance Analytics: Advanced analytics tools within the dashboard provide insights into energy production trends, efficiency metrics, and system health. These insights help in optimizing performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Alerts and Notifications: Automated alerts notify users of potential issues such as equipment malfunctions, performance drops, or maintenance needs. This proactive approach helps in addressing problems before they escalate.
Energy Management: Dashboards facilitate the management of energy consumption and storage. Users can monitor energy usage patterns, track battery levels, and make informed decisions about energy distribution and consumption.
Reporting and Visualization: Customizable reports and visualizations help users understand system performance over time. Historical data analysis and graphical representations make it easier to assess the impact of solar energy on overall energy costs and savings.
The Importance of Solar Management Dashboard Development
The development of a solar management dashboard involves creating a user-friendly and feature-rich interface that effectively integrates with solar power systems. This development process is critical for ensuring that dashboards meet the specific needs of users and provide accurate, actionable data.
Key Aspects of Solar Management Dashboard Development:
Integration Capabilities: A well-developed dashboard must seamlessly integrate with various solar components and technologies. This includes compatibility with different types of solar panels, inverters, and energy storage systems.
User Experience (UX) Design: The dashboard should be designed with user experience in mind, offering an intuitive interface that simplifies navigation and data interpretation. A good UX design ensures that users can easily access and understand the information they need.
Data Accuracy and Security: Accurate data collection and transmission are crucial for reliable performance monitoring. Additionally, robust security measures must be implemented to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access or breaches.
